Collection activity typically starts within 3 business days. Accounts are entered into our system the same day but we like to familiarize ourselves with your customers before beginning collection activity. We develop a plan, set goals and train collectors if required. Once the plan is established we will identify your customers
ability to pay, locate information and update your data files. You can access this information online anytime. Most contact is first conducted with a dialer to insure communication can be made. This allows United to service large value placements and organize the most effective approach. Upon verification of customer information, a recovery agent will call and begin to negotiate a resolution. For optimum performance he or she will attempt to secure payment in full. If we can not resolve the account in 30 days we will notify the three major credit agencies (Experian, Equifax ® and TransUnion ®) if a resolution is not achieved within 60 days we will begin legal activity for qualified accounts. Legal action could result in civil arbitration, litigation, attachment and/or garnishment.
